Hi guys, I need some of your expertise.
I've got a late 2006 2,1 macbook 2.0ghz c2d. I want to make the machine faster by slapping an ssd but I don't know which one. I've read posts about people having trouble with disk recognition which makes it impossible to install the OS, slow performance once they get it working and so on.
I have some more questions also: the new ones are sata 3 which are compatible with sata 2. Does it make them compatible also with sata 1? Am I running into any problem here?
And what about TRIM support in 10.6.8? I know I have the option of TRIM enabler if the OS won't support it out of the box. Do I need a sandforce ssd?
HELP!!
Thanks guys.
