will sl ever support ssd trim or is it time to upgrade to lion ?

I have two only reasons to upgrade to lion:

1. Full screen app
2. SSD trim support,

I can avoid my first reason but second one is quite important as it will give me much better performance.

Apart from those, I have not seen anything so very important to upgrade.

There is a free, third party app called Trim Enabler for SL.

That application is not working for me, by the way i am using apple ssd the one comes with itself, its not a third party drive.

10.6.8 added trim support.
