Only in the last week or so do I now see portthru in the WiFi choices on the iP4, what is it and why have I only just started seeing it.

Also, any idea why the WiFi when dropping out frequently keeps asking me to input the password on my home server. It should recognise it and sometimes does but the frequency of it asking for password is now happening loads

What is portthru?

i had both the same problems/questions.

i think portthru is something a Samsung device like a printer uses. do you have any Samsung devices?

i had to get a new wireless router (uverse) to fix my connection problems with wireless devices

No, only a portable Samsung telly....?

Wondered about new routers, but apparently the provider have something in contracts about changing the lousy thing for their rubbish Sagem
