If you are talking about the safari (chrome, firefox, etc) "control-f" the answer is yes.

When in safari tap the search field in the upper right and enter the word you are searching for. The google suggestions will appear but beneath them it will say "on this page" and you can tap that to run a word search.

Wow, this thread. I never knew this, but also miss ctrl f like crazy. Not anymore.
