Charging is not supported with this accessory?

Hi everyone,

A few minutes ago I was charging my iPhone to my Mac and this showed up on my lockscreen.

Any idea why? Thanks.

Have you tried the standard things? Unplug and plug back in? Turn off and on again?

Yea. I unplugged it & plugged it back in. Works fine now; I just wanted to know why it was saying that.

well it was probably just a bad connection, some accessories actually are not supported but since yours is working now i wouldnt put to much thought in it till it happens more often

It goes in and out, and it's not an accessory. I'm just plugging in the usb cable to my iPhone from computer...
