thanks for the link, but i've seen that and thats not what i was wondering about.
unless theres somewhere in all of those posts that talks about a 13'' MBP, and not the 17" in the article???

nvm, i found that...
2011 13'' MBP with 2.3GHz i5 = 5917
2011 13'' MBA with 1.7GHz i5 = 5860

Does geekbench take into account harddisk speed, or only processor?

Only CPU and Memory
op, add this to the list if you want to compare!

the test might not be fair, because the MBP may be a 32-bit benchmark

I done a 64 bit test on my 2011 MBP 13 i5 and the result was 6300 ish
