Hi all,

I have recently purchased a Yongnuo 460ii flash for my Canon Powershot S5 [not a DSLR, but has DIGIC III processor, and it should support this flash in Master] and placed the flash into the hot-shoe. However, I now have this annoying problem:
Every time I shoot a picture with the flash attached, there is a small delay between pressing the "shoot" button and actually taking the picture and the flash lighting up. It leads to some annoying blur on moving objects even with the flash. [see example of blur with flash]

In fact, even with the flash in the shoe but turned OFF, I still have issue with the trigger delay in taking the picture.

Any advice on how to improve the timing delay that the flash seems to introduce? I have googled but not found any solutions but I am hoping that someone on here has had similar issues that were resolved with some clever fix.

Thank you!
