MacBook Air 2011 Glitch/Bugs Thread
Lets use this thread for any glitches or bugs we find with the 2011s.
I'm not sure if this was just a random crash, but I closed and quickly reopened the lid and the screen was blank. It took a hard reset using the power button to get it back up. No amount of clicking or pressing keys did anything. Anyway, Lion's Resume feature worked wonders here, since it reopened Safari and Outlook exactly where they were. That said, hopefully this isn't another case of the wake-from-sleep issue that dogged my Rev D last October. It took 2 replacements before I solved the issue. Apple later issued an EFI firmware update for it. I have an 11" 1.8GHz Core i7 256GB model. I do have FileVault2 activated. Otherwise, this has been a great system so far. |
