I plan to rip my DVDs and have it play in my NMT (network media tank) like popcornhour as well as my appleTV gen2, IPAD, MBP and iphone. In this regard, do i need to rip it all to a different file or is there a file that can be played by all of them?
I want to retain as much quality as decently possible on the main movie plus the english subtitle and the english audio file. I will be playing it on a 1080p 55" TV as well. How much GB would each movie consume? Is it the normal 7GB or will it go down to around 2GB? I hope it goes to around 3GB at most.
I dont know if i should rip it to M4V / MP4 / MKV / etc.
