Camera from other country?

I'm not sure on still cameras. I know for sure that each country uses different stuff for video cameras. Just to be safe, I wouldn't buy it unless it says on the packaging that it is compatible in Australia. Sometimes they use slightly different batteries and power supplies, and if you plugged it in back in Australia, it may damage the camera. If it were me, just to be safe, I would buy it when you get back to Australia.

I posted on the other thread. I would expect that there would be no problems with buying in Japan and using in Australia.
