SDL OpenGL Support

I'm a long time x86 user (mainly Linux) and I'm considering buying a PowerBook. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience using the SDL libraries on OSX? The work for my thesis is all done in SDL under Linux and that'd be a major selling point for me.

Thanks!
