Lion and Shutting Down Option To Open The last Window

When I shut Lion down on my new MBA I always have the option checked to open to the last window. I have uncheck it. Is there a way to remove the option entirely?
 
If you hit the space bar first, it will uncheck the save option. So by default hitting space then enter will shutdown
