Spotlight reindexing after booting off of recovery partition in Lion.
Anyone else have this issue. I merely wanted to boot into the recovery partition to check the boot drive to make sure no repairs were needed. I simply ran a repair permissions test and a HDD file test using disk utility. After both were done I rebooted into the standard partition and that is when Spotlight started reindexing my primary drive once again. I have had this happen before when I booted into a external CCC of my drive just to verify that the clone worked and when I booted back into the primary drive once again Spotlight started reindexing.
Any idea what is going on here. Thanks as always.
