OT: What's your favorite news site?
Okay, okay, off topic (sorta) ,I know, but I'm just wondering where everybody goes to find these articles posted here.
My favorites are Cnet news and Newsfactor at the moment, though that may change at anytime......... |

MOSR is the best!!! (just kidding
).MacCentral for the news, not so much for the forums. XLR8YourMac for the info. VersionTracker for the, uh... version tracking. ThinkSecret for the Rumors. And of course MacRumors for the bitchin... er, discussion. MacNN used to be my favorite, but they've since p*ssed me off to no end. I have a long list of reasons why I don't like them anymore, but I don't think you all want to hear them again. Someone once asked me how I'd feel if MOSR and MacNN disappeared tomorrow, and I told them I could honestly care less. Edit: Any news non-Mac related (is there such a thing?) I get from all over the place. There are so many good news sites for everything from headline news to entertainment it's hard to say what the best are. Ironically, for tech-geek news, a lot of the PC/Electronics magazines have pretty good web sites. Who needs to buy the mags? What an age we live in, all the information in the world at your finger tips. And what do most people surf the web for? Porn.

I view AP newswire most of the time. Of course Drudge Report gets links to all the interesting stories.

Wired.com is pretty good. The Ephemeral section of the site is often funny, and sometime insightful. I also stop by Space.com once in a while.

I like http://maccentral.macworld.com/ for a quick summary of Mac news. I read the L.A. Times and Newsweek and listen to the radio and TV news, so I rarely look for non-computer news online.

I go to news.bbc.co.uk first. I find them generally unbiased, and they often have news that the US sites don't carry. (Like Middle east and african news.) (No wonder americans are accused of not knowing anything about those cultures. Our news seldom carries stories that do not relate directly to us.)
