Hi, I set up the iChat Server on my Mac server (Lion) and am trying to log in using iChat on a client machine. So this is what I'm doing:
Type: Jabber
User Name: shortname@domain.com
Password: *********
So, if my name is Steve Jobs, it would be steve@apple.com, and then the password. I connect through SSL and everything connects fine, but then it tells me that my user ID or password is wrong. Am I missing something? I know that the password is definitely correct, but is there something weird about the user ID? Does it need to be stevejobs@apple.com or something like that? Just to be clear, the short name is steve, the full name is Steve Jobs. Thanks for your help!
