Folder when i try to open it, it acts like it is opening { which it does open } because i can view in folders in it in the hd. Apps folder. The prob. Being is that no menu bar shows up in menu bar or dock or on desk top. Am i not doing something right or is it just " lion " ????

I really tired to understand your post, but I couldn't.

The one part I was sure of, what you asked toward the end if DropBox works in Lion. Answer: yes. I'm running Lion and Dropbox without any issues.

Try updating your dropbox, version 1.2.18 is the latest I think.

Try going to your Applications and opening Dropbox. The icon should appear on the top menu bar.
