Hello all!

My iPod Classic's headphone jack was working just fine until the other day, when I heard a lot of static, then silence. The music is still there, still plays, but I can't hear it through my headphones. I can still hear through my headphone jack on my computer, and my music still plays on iTunes on my computer when the iPod is hooked up. I can also hear the clicking and the volume turn up and down with the headphones in, but no music is playing.

HELP! What can I do?

Anything? Anything? I'll take the wackiest idea you can think of if for nothing else other than a laugh! I need a few of those! Thanks!!!

This is really unfortunate but I have to say that it looks like a problem with your Ipod's headphone port. Perhaps it got damaged from the inside. The only thing that you can do about it is to take your device to the apple hardware store and they will fix it for you. I can't think of any other idea.
