How to re-install Apple DVD player

Hi,

After travelling OS and changing the region settings on Apple DVD player, i can't play DVD's anymore. Out of frustration i deleted DVD player.
Does anyone know of a good replacement to download or how i can reload the original. I don't have any original installation disks. I'm in Australia and they are in New Zealand.

Any help would be much appreciated.

VLC should work as a DVD Player replacement, but you'll still need to contend with the Region Code. I believe there's a 3rd party app to reset the region code change count, though I don't know the exact name.
