Will this adapter work for an Apple?

Hi, I recently bought a mac mini to help my parents make the switch!

Rather than buying apple stuff, I was thinking I can get them up and going (for now) with a PC PS/2 keyboard and mouse. Do you suppose this adapter:

PS/2 to USB Adapter

will work to get them up and going?

It should, but I don't have anything to test it with.

If it's cheap enough, buy it and try it. If it doesn't work, return it.
