So, I finally upgraded to an iMac and can now runs games that my macbook couldn't even touch. Portal runs perfect off of steam for example. However, TF2 doesn't seem to want to work. It starts up, gets through the valve screen and even starts to load before crashing. By load I mean that I'm on the loading screen for the tutorial map and the program stops responding at the same point every time.

Anything I can do about this?

Edit: So I never got any replies on this but figured it out myself. In case anyone else has this problem as see’s this thread I’m editing so that you know.

I noticed today that the app for TF2 was in my user applications folder, where steam must have placed it, rather than my system applications folder where it logically should have been. Thus, in a last ditch attempt to play the game, I moved it. Lone behold it now runs perfectly fine :D
