MacPro Start up Problem
I have a 2010 Mac Pro with 8 core and 22 gb of ram running Lion 10.7.1. This morning when I start up the computer, it could not recognize both my keyboard and BT trackpad. I could not log in at all. I can only move the mouse but the clicking function stops to work. What gives? Any suggestions?

Problem kinda solved
After taking all the USB (except for the wired Apple keyboard and mouse) and Firewire connections out and restarting the MP, it worked fine. Then I replugged all the connectors back one at a time and restarted the MP. I found the culprit!! It is from the FireWire chain (2 external hard drives, a laser printer and an Epson flatbed scanner). I haven't had time to check them individually but at least I know where the problem is.
Thanks for the suggestion. At least I can get back to work!
