I haven't tried to upgrade my iPhone 3Gs in iOS5 not only because it is a beta, but maybe it will slow down the performance. I'm wondering if users who upgrade their iPhone 3Gs to iOS 5 has experienced any differences in performance...

The reason why I asked this question because of what had happened in the previous update which is iOS 4. The 2nd Generation devices (iPhone, iPod Touch) became slower. So what I think was that the 3rd Gen devices would be experiencing the slow-feeling in iOS 5.

Anyway, I really hope there's an answer to my question..

My iDevices:
:apple: iPhone 3Gs, iPod touch 2G and 4G, iPad 2 16gb.

Mine was a bit faster when I tried the first beta. I've heard there have been significant speed increases since b1, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

Well, I got a iPhone 3Gs with iOS 5 beta 6 now. And now i got better battery life and a faster system performance compared to iOS 4! :D

I've been using all the betas, and ofc the latest beta is the best :)
