iPod Remember Creative declaring 'war' to Apple iPod

that is what happens when you make clones of other players. apple wont take creative copying their firmware on the chin, they should have been aware about that. i personally hope they go bust and return to making speakers and sound cards.

a guy on my course has a Creative Zen something or other with a scroll 'stick'. what a beast. its ugly. its slow. its big and heavy. and its got a dead-end stick compared to a never ending wheel (ooo the old song "Windmills of the mind")

and the Zen Micro's? they had 1 single feature which was better than the iPod Mini; 5Gb. but now we had 6Gb minis. and again... talk about ugly.

yes. i am fashion conscious :p

I had a Creative Jukebox mp3 player (6 gig hard drive) long before I ever got an iPod. Creative was first on the market with a hard-drive player, as I recall. Though it had hardly any of the visual appeal of the iPod -- the Jukebox was light blue and styled like a large discman.

i think right before those creative ones was archos. that thing was terrible. i had the 6gig jukebox. it weighed like 2 pounds, it barely worked, and the battery life was a joke. i actually wound up using my portable cd player in my 1 hour drive morning commutes.

I have no time for Creative, and I'm not interested in their shoddy mp3 players, or, for that matter, their historically terrible soundcards (and their terrible drivers, on Windows and on the Mac).

They're a novelty company.

Alrighty then... well at least somebody here is creative. Um, yeah Apple is.. well.. they have the atomic bomb. LOL.
