Try deleting the printer and then adding it back. The system should detect it. It is my understanding that the printer architecture did not change from SL to Lion, unlike tbe move to SL from L which trashed a lot of printers and scanners.

Thank you for your prompt answer.

Problem solved after deleting and adding the printer from the list.

But settings changed and print quality little bit different.

Thanks again.

Ug - I'm now having this problem.
Canon Selphy CP510 was working fine on my MBP & I decided to move it to the Mac Mini - both have latest OS X Lion installed, with all updates etc.

On the mini I can see the printer when I click the '+' to add a printer, but no driver is listed or available.

I've downloaded & installed the Canon driver, but still no joy
I've also unplugged & re-plugged in the printer to see if the Mac will pick it up.

Any ideas ?

OK Gutenprint to the rescue - installed the latest version & now I see heaps more printer drivers when I try to add a printer, including one for Selphy CP510

Prints ok although it's a bit fiddly to set borderless printing & the colour reproduction is, frankly, pretty rubbish... I guess that could improve with a heap of fiddling with the Gutenprint settings
