Hi Guys,

Finally got my MacBook Pro.

I downloaded a program via Rapidshare, its in 6 parts in rar files.

When i had a windows machine i used winrar to extract the files, just right clicked on the first one and 'extract with winrar'. How do i do this on Mac OS?

Help would be greatly appreciated guys.

Unarchiver is best. I use it in all my deployments so users don't have to scratch their heads on any archive. It does them all.

I just downloaded unarchiver for some .rar files I am working with. After extracting the files, they go into three folders and now I want to burn those to a dvd-r, but the disk utility won't make them an option to burn. What am I doing wrong?

sorry for the newb question, but I have just discovered .rar and the extraction process, so I'm kinda giving myself a crash-course through it. Thanks in advance for the help.

I think Disk Utility will only let you burn .DMG ? Never used it to burn a cd/dvd
If you just want to burn files to a disk use Right Click(or Control Click) / Burn.....
OR
You can make a Burn folder under Finders / File, menu
