I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate it won't have a G5 processor. But hey, I've been wrong before so you never know.ebally said:If someone was give an educated guess, what specs do you think the next PowerBook might have?

Electric Monk said:You're probably confusing the 7448 (1.8+ GHz with 200 MHz FSB) which is sampling/in production with the upcoming e600 model (1.8+ GHz, 667 MHz bus, various other features - do a search) which is sampling in the second half of this year with production next year. It has single or dual core models.
And yes, 1.8 GHz with a 200 MHz FSB via the new 7448 is the most likely update for the Powerbooks.
Ah, but you've not seen how long my limbs are...Macky-Mac said:ya know, that's NOT very far out on a limb..........you want out on a limb??? how about;
