My 3Gs got stuck in this loop where it would reboot to the itunes/usb logo over and over again. I put it into dfu mode to restore. At very end of restore, I get a "could not restore, error 1002" message, and now it's stuck in restore mode.
It is not jailbroken and Apple wants me to pay $199 for a replacement 3Gs. Anyone know how to get it working again just enough to hold on until the next generation releases?
