Since i ever installed Lion and I am getting a lot of beach balls and slow applications, it looks like my computer is filled with bloatware which reminds me of my Windows using days formatting every 6 months, this was never the case with Snow Leopard.
I am wondering if multiple desktops is the issue, I use 3 and i have 2GB late 2008 macbook. I went back to using one now, but have not tested it long enough to tell if RAM is the issue.
I understand multiple desktops have been used in Linux for a very long time and my hardware should me more than sufficient to handle it
