Standard gmail won't load while using Safari

What the title states. Standard gmail won't load when I use Safari. I am using the latest version of Safari.

I use Safari exclusively, and have never had any problems loading gmail.

Have you checked all your settings, and tried a restart??

I am having this same problem as well, and I just updated Safari to 5.1. I'm having trouble with the Google calendar as well.
