Has anyone here upgrade SL with boot camp to Lion here?

Hi,
I have a Lion dmg file.
When I tried to intall the file, the installation program notifies me that no GUID-partition-table is found on the disk.
I have a boot camp with windows xp installed.
Can anyone here share some experience on how to upgrade the OS?
