Hi everyone, I really like Lion's "All My Files" feature, but at the moment this has been swamped by files from my synched Dropbox folder (which sits inside of my home folder). Is there a way to hide the Dropbox folder from the "All My Files" tab so that I only get files which were not downloaded through Dropbox?

Thanks,
Gerbe

Maybe using the terminal to change the name of the folder to start with a dot.

".foldername"

Yes
Yes, adding a period to the start of the folder name willi prevent the folder's contents from showing up in 'All My Files'
Adding a period to the start of a file name will do the same for individual files.

However, making your dropbox folder invisible is likely to make it very hard for anyone to see it in order to drop things into it.
