Yes....lets blame the iPod for N.Y.'s rising subway crime....
And while we're at it, lets blame cars for the continual rise in car theft since the 1900's.
Why aren't we blaming the ****ing thieves? Another world class reporter strikes again - I guess that's why cnn calles it "off-beat" news. |

If you read the article, you get the following facts:
10 serious crimes on the subways daily. So in 4 months, about 1200 serious incidents. In that time, iPod thefts increased by 50 incidents (for a new total of... 50, since there were none in the compared past period). And in that time, mobile phone thefts increased by 117 incidents beyond the previous number. So, they iPod's to blame for all this then? Protect and hide your valuables when in an unsafe place. How is that something new? |
