I'm going back to Uni in October and want something quite light, for note taking and general web browsing. My MBP is great, but it's the weight and value of it, which really puts me off lugging it to uni everyday. I did dabble with the idea of a MBP/iPad combo, but thought I'd be far too restricted to what I could do on the iPad and I'm unsure of it's note taking capabilities.

Basically I want to know if there's anyone who has a MBP/MBA combo and doesn't find themselves thinking it isn't worth me having both of these machines.

:)

11" MBA would be ideal, iPad as good as it is won't be great for taking notes in lectures.

Don't forget the £65 iTunes voucher ends on the 20th.

I just sold my 15 inch MBP, and I so much more enjoy the MBA+desktop!
It best of both worlds, I have a light capable laptop and a desktop with tons of space for disks, PCI cards and all the things you miss in the MBP!
