Old Dual 1.8Ghz PowerMac or Wait for 2.0Ghz iMac?

Relatively new to the Mac world and wanted to get some advice. Do you guys think a discontinued Dual PowerMac 1.8Ghz or a iMac 2.0Ghz (assuming it ever appears) would be better for me?

I wouldn't use either one for games, but am expecting a baby in August and would be doing a lot of video at that point 🙂

I'm new to the Mac world, so I'm not sure how big a deal it is that the old dual 1.8Ghz only comes with the 5200. With my college discount I could get the PowerMac for $1500, but by the time you throw in a monitor and extra Ram that price starts to go up....

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.
