Curved glass for iPhone 5/4S - opinion

There are rumors that the new iPhone 5 (and maybe iPhone 4S) will have a curved gorilla glass - a trend started by Samsung with its bada and android phones. I personally like the feeling of the curved glass surface - would like to know what others think...

I wonder how it will affect the optics. Will part of my screen be distorted?

It does not look distorted -the middle is flat'ish, but top and bottom have little angle - it makes holding the device very comfy

Are we talking about concave or convex curving glass -- I feel like convex would expose the screen to more shatters on drops.

The iPhone needs less shattering, not more.

Maybe the back glass, not the front.

I hope not. I like the flat glass of the iPhone 4.

A slight curve would be nice, but I'm not expecting it with this upgrade... probably one in the future will have it though.

A minor curve would be almost invisible when looking at it straight on, but it'd make it slightly easier to use.

I have no problem holding and using the iPhone 4. I'm actually baffled that some others do. 😕
