Is your HDD always being written to?
I have Lion on a SSD and my User folder is on my HDD. Spotlight indexing is done but my HDD is being written to every few seconds from 2KB/s to 200KB/s. The constant HDD grumbling noise is getting annoying.
I have Google Chrome, iTunes, iChat, Mail, and Numbers open. I'm not doing anything though, not listening to music. Just letting it idle and watching the Activity Monitor. Last edited by AbeFroman77; Sep 29, 2011 at 02:29 PM. |
