What size (16 GB vs. 32 GB) iPhone 4s should I get?

I have a 32 GB iPhone 4 right now and I'm only using about 14 GB. Most of that is music. I'm thinking that with iCloud, I'll need even less space on the phone because the music is stored in the cloud. Is it the same for pictures and video?

If I'm not storing tons of media on the phone, what's the point of the larger storage size?

After getting an ipad 2 with 16gb and it almost being filled with just games.. I'm going 32GB with 4s. I figure i'll get another 20GB of storage with icloud and i will be set.

If you are only using 14gb and you are sure you won't need more in the future, get the 16gb.

But, keep in mind that the new phone comes with new stuff, so you may find you have slightly less room than you do now.

iCloud isn't a streaming service. You still have to download your content, so you won't be saving any space by using iCloud.

I have all my music on an external hd and stream it to my phone with an app called audiogalaxy. I have android right now (will be getting the iphone 4s when it comes out on sprint) but let my cousin use it on his iphone and it works like a charm. You will be using data though. When using it on and off for a month including the rest of my data I used a little under 2 gigs. For those of you that dont have unlimited data plans.

32GB is fine, 64 GB will be over doing it right now, unless you take lots of videos with the camera. I wouldn't recommend 16GB at all.

Im most likely getting the 32GB. I don't need to store everything on it and probably won't get near the max but with the amount of music, video, and photos and apps I do want on it, I probably will go over 16GB. Any more space I can just manage with iCloud. Remember the thing about the iPhone is that once you buy it, you're stuck with that capacity forever. I'd hate for storage to be a problem 6 months from now

Heh. Not me. I'm one of those suckers that upgrades to every new model.

I wonder how much I'll be able to sell my 32 GB iPhone 4 for?

Depends what you have in it. Example, if its unlocked, jailbroken, does it have some great jailbreak application.

All those are examples of value boosting.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (device; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8J2 Safari/6533.18.5)

It depends on what you want to do with it. I still have 8gb's free on my 16gb 3GS, but I'm still getting 32 just for the hell of it. I've had this iPhone for 27+ months, so spending $300 on a 32 isn't a big deal.

I'm not eligible for upgrade pricing, because I switched to Verizon in December of last year. So my price for the 32 GB is $549, which is kinda steep. I think I can sell my iPhone 4 32 GB for about $300-$350, which would soften the blow considerably. That's what I'll probably do.
