Freeway Express--how good is it?

I've been testing out a trial version of the website program, Freeway Express. Since I don't know about a lot about the differences between Freeway and say Dreamweaver (except the price), I was wanting to get some feedback from people who have used Freeway. I'm basically using it to rebuild my website in which I used a trial version of Dreamweaver to do so. I never bought Dreamweaver, but I really need a web development program in order to constantly update and revise the site. So any feedback would be appreciated.

From my view ...

Both Murphy and Freeway Express seem to like to play games with me. I have been a computer person since the 1970's and can handle most forms of programs easily - however ...

I do struggle and struggle and struggle to grasp a concept in Freeway Express with great difficulty (i.e. 24 hours of trying over 2 months) and then it out of the blue will work just as described in the users guide. Now maybe I have become a 50 year old fool who has lost a little sanity along the way but i think something somewhere needs to be tightened up or loosen up on this program. I have not determined which yet.

My current challenge is to figure out how to establish passwords and "push" sequences between pages. I have seen this on websites and Freeway Express seems to support "password and push" technology but in reality I have never done that form of web control before. So learning this is ENTIRELY new to me. My last struggle was to get Freeway to let me do basic text wraps around images.

Do not get me wrong I suspect the program has great potential but that seems to want to "escape" me!.

Freeway Express - Darker Side

After spending 2 weeks on clients web site using this program I have discovered that Freeway Express pages will ONLY work with Freeway Express. These pages cannot be independently reviewed by clients unless they have a Macintosh AND Freeway Express. The pages will not load on offline browsers (unless your working directly IN Freeway), and the pages can not be transported to other web publishing programs for secondary editing.

The program as far as I am concerned not only gets 5 rotten apples it deserves to to get a bushel of rotten apples and those apples won't even make decent apple cider!.
