Payment does not clear until right before phone ships. Your ship date has been pushed back. Another thread is talking about this. Apparently they ran out of 16GB.

I feel like it must be an error. Unless they only had 3 in stock I should not have been delayed. I got my order confirmation email at 2:58am EST
Are you sure you got your time right? 2:58 am EST would be 11:58 pacific time. Pre-ordering didn't open until around 12:35am pacific time, so how did you pre-order it 1) before Apple origionally planned on opening pre-ordering and 2) before pre-ordering was opened even later it was planned to start??

Cancel your order and get it through Apple right now I just did it and now I have an October 14th through Apple - do it now before the Oct 14ths sell out on Apple
