International iPhone 4S Order Status Thread

It seems to me that there is a lot of confusion and frustration around the forums with so many people claiming that their iPhones are already prepared for shipment, and is delivering on the 14th while the rest of us who also stayed up all night, ordering as soon as the site came back up are still processing. It seems that only the orders in the US have been processed and the rest are still processing.

With all these Americans around the forums it's hard to see the status of anything outside of the US, so post your preorder status in this thread if you're living outside of the US. If you're living in the US, don't post in this thread because it will just add to the confusion.

I ordered my iPhone 4S as soon as the site came up. Australian here, buying both iPhones unlocked. Still says Processing Item and Shipping by October 14th.

Same here.. Ordered 32 and 16GB black.... Ships by october 14th, processing items...

Same deal here, Australian too, and ordered within seconds of pre-orders becoming available. My status is just the same as yours.

Still "Processing items" here in France.
But in the US there is "delivers October 14th" and outside the US there is "ships by October 14th". Does it mean that we will receive it later?

Mine doesn't mention anything about processing. It just says ships by October 14th. Not that I'm bothered as long as I have it at the latest sometime next week. I don't expect it to be delivered on the 14th.
 
Yup, same here in Canada.
Still processing and "ships by October 14th"
It'll be interesting this week to see if the status changes because people who didn't get in early for the preorder before Apple soled out are now getting "delivery" estimates of October 24th.
So that could mean those who got the preorders early may still get them on the 14th, or they'll start arriving on or after the 17th - which would suck.
 
I ordered it 15 - 25 minutes after the store went open, so I think I will be in the first wave.

They seem to be shipping based on what model you have bought, not the order.

I am still dubious about this "Ships by 14th" terminology. If it only gets dispatched from China or where it is on the 13th, it may well not arrive till 17th, 18th, 19th etc.

I'd be real annoyed if only the US got it launch day.

Only the US getting preorder on launch day looks very real. Not to say some international order may get them on the 14th - but this is the same thing that happened with my Apple TV2 preorder.
Ordered it a few minutes after it went on sale, but didn't get it on launch day. Arrived the week after and the shipping notice was the same. Said ships by the release date.
I really hope I'm wrong about this and we all get our iPhone's on the 14th.

That sucks.. hate it when companies suck up to the US. Well that pretty much settles it then.
 
Ordered from Australia within minutes after available.

Money is taken from CC hours ago.
Still showing Processing Item and Ships on 14th October.
 
So this is interesting and thought I'd share -
I was just on a Canadian forum - and some people in Canada who preordered their iPhone 4S through a specific carrier have received tracking info.
It says their phones will be delivered on the 14th.
So I can't see Apple not delivering the iPhone 4S on launch day but allow the carriers to deliver it on launch day.
So that gives me hope we'll all get ours on the 14th now.

Apple takes a hold of the money when you place the order to make sure that you have enough to pay for the phone. It will be put back in your account within a few days then they will charge you when the phone ships.

All this about only the US getting it on the 14th is a load of crap. We will get it on the 14th...

DON'T WORRY

I'm just going to stop checking every 2 minutes. It'll be here on Thursday or Friday.

Yep mine is the same as this. Processing Items > Dispatched: Ships by October 14th

Pretty sure this is a different status to what it was yesterday...

I live in the UK. I ordered as soon as I could on Friday.

I ordered the iP4s White 16gb.
 
hi im from the uk i ordered my white ip4s around 9.30am friday, they instantly took the payment of my card. on my order details is says processing and ships by october 14th? what does this mean am i in for a longer wait? or will i recieve my phone on time. thanks im new to this site so forgive if i have made any errors :D

Same boat as everyone from the UK.. we all have "Ships by 14th".

Whether this means we get it on or after the 14th is a bit confusing.

Well said. I wish people would stop assuming they have already been charged when they haven't. All Apple has done is to check if you have enough funds and putting them on hold before going ahead with your order. They will put it back and then charge you when or soon after they ship your order.
