how to use xbox 360 controller on mbp?

hello could someone help me out, i am trying to figure out how to use an xbox 360 controller on my macbook pro.. please tell what software works and which adapter to buy to connect wireless controller

Just get a wired one, can pretty much buy a used wireless controller for the price of a wireless adapter.
