Fresh install Tiger with lost system password?

From memory: If you start from the DVD (holding down C on startup) you can reset admin password from the Utility menu inside the Tiger installer...
yeah. when you first boot into tiger (holding the C key as the computer is starting), one of the menus at the top should have the option to "Reset Password"... just do that and bam, you are good to go 
Installing Tiger does not require a password at all. You can just go through a normal install (make sure to back up data first) and it will let you. I recomend and archive and install.
