Proxychains not working..
I'm having a little trouble getting it to work..
I have tor running.. checking 127.0.0.1:9050 with my browser returns: "This address is restricted This address uses a network port which is normally used for purposes other than Web browsing. Firefox has canceled the request for your protection." when I run ./proxychains ssh xx.xx.xx.xx The resulting connection is actually made through my own machine. An nmap to my machine only reports CUPS, no port 9050. What am I doing wrong? How can I make sure that port 9050 is really running and have proxychains use tor through it? UPDATE:
I got port 9050 up and tor is 100% running. The other half of the problem remains.. When I use Code:
sudo ./proxychains ssh xx.xx.xx.xx Code:
sphere$ netstat Active Internet connections Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address (state) tcp4 0 0 sphere.lan.54778 xx.xx.ssh ESTABLISHED |
