I always set my brightness settings at exactly 50% when i'm on adapter and 3 notches down from that of course when it's on battery. But I find that when I cold boot my mba in the mornings without having it on adapter first, it forgets the setting and makes it much brighter than it's supposed to. Any insight on why it does this?
