Where is notification center on the lock screen?

Anyone else not seeing the notification center on the lock screen? I switched some apps to on when asked if I wanted them to show on the lock screen, but nothing shows.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

It only shows if there is a new notification. Get a friend to send an SMS or send yourself an email (that doesn't show on the lock screen by default, but you can change that in settings)

Hope that helps

please tell me where in the settings..

i dont get my emails to show in the notification center..

i do get my texts though, both on lock screen and notification center, but not mails. My mail is a @me.com mail synced with icloud and my mba.

i looked in all settigns i could find, so unless its called something pretty silly or its not in the mail, general, phone, icloud or message settings, them i'm completely lost

also tried googling the "problem" but could only find old beta forum posts about this and seems like reboot solved it back then. i tried that too, no change.

I have my settings correct and mine still doesn't come up.. Also when I pull the notification bar down, I thought you could swipe on the notification and it will bring you right into that app. Mine doesn't do that.. I am running my finger over everything and it's not working... Anyone else have that problem..

Same problem on 2 different Iphone 4's

When I lock and unlock the screen there is nothing there, no weather , no stocks no mail and I have enabled them in notification center and also enabled "show in lock screen"

This is literally the reason I upgraded to ios5

Weather never shows up on the lock screen.

Only new notifications that are received while the phone is locked will show up on the lock screen. Once you unlock, they will go away from the lock screen forever. Notifications in the lock screen will bring you directly to the App by sliding the icon to the right.

In the unlocked notification center, a simple touch of the notification will bring you to that app.

Oh i see now, I was confused I basically thought the notification center screen was the new lock screen.
Thanks for clearing that up, now that I know what is possible it would be awesome to have nc as my lock screen.

You should be able to swipe down from the top of the screen once the phone is unlocked.

Why does the weather show up on Apple's site on the notification info page?

That's not the lock screen. That's the notification center, which you can only get to when the phone is unlocked.

Yeah I thought there would at least be an option to make notification center the lockscreen...

Looks like I'll be jailbreaking again.

only up to 2 days before the event, then once you unlock your phone, it goes away from the lock screen. Very disappointing. I miss Lockinfo already :*(

guys, before you panic use it for a few days and dig through ALL the settings. apple really gave you a lot of options this time around.

it took me a few days when the first beta was released before i really understood it all.
