A very large meteorite just landed on my head making me drop my brand new iPhone 4s. Do you think that's covered by Applecare +? If so do you think I can have my buddy run into the apple store and buy it for me (I didn't do it when I got the phone)? Actually, since it's activated, just call the police. They'll contact your carrier, get the phone ID and track down the thief.

You should have gave chase. That way when he's beating your ass others will call the cops, perp gets arrested, you get to post on MR from the hospital with your new 4s. Win.
