ATT Voicemail setup on 4s...

Hello all...in short, when clicking on voicemail in the phone app, I see an image that says something like voicemail cannot connect with a button to "call att"

Well, I have called now three times (on the phone now--on hold)...the first two times they could not solve the problem (frankly, I have no idea what the problem is). The woman whom I just got off the phone with (she had me on hold for almost 15 minutes) told me that she set up everything and that all was well. Well, I still see the same screen after pressing the voicemail button.

Help please...........

could be you never set up your voice mail or need to set it up and by set it up I mean you need to set up how you want it to react on a phone call and record your message. It might of got reset when you renewed your phone or set it up. Sometimes it glitches like that.
Call your own cell number with you cell phone and go threw the steps.

Well did you set a VisualVoicemaill password?

If not follow these steps to complete the setup.

Reset voicemail password from AT&T's automated system
1. Call 611 or 800-331-0500.
2. Enter the wireless number starting with area code.
3. Press 3 to get help with voicemail.
4. Press 3 to reset your VM password.
5. Enter the Billing Zip code for the account.
6. After a few seconds, iPhone will display "Password Incorrect - Enter Voicemail Password."
7. Enter the last seven digits of the wireless phone number and tap OK.
