Simply put, does 10.7.2 provide any improvements in battery life? I know Apple didn't say a word about this, so I'm looking for user experience. I had to go back to SL on my 2010 13" MBA because the battery life was unacceptable. I barely got 3 hours when doing normal browsing. SL still gets 6-7 hours easily.

Any insight? It doesn't have to be 7 hours, but even 5-6.

I can't tell you an answer to your question since I'm still on Snow Leopard, but just reading your post just confirms my decision to stay on SL! Thanks for the heads up!

I haven't noticed a huge difference, but I'm getting a lot more than 3 hours battery life. Mine averages about 5-6 hours on my 2011 13".

It's a bit early to tell but my experience so far looks similar. I don't see any improvements. Still getting a little over 5 hours.

Light browsing I am seeing 4 - 4.5 hours using Safari. I only see 3 hours or less using Chrome 😕 Using both Click to Flash. I like Chrome but only when I am plugged in.

There is definitely a slight improvement from what I can see. 10.7.2 now lasts about the same as 10.6.8 for me, with the exception that since I could use Coolbook under 10.6.8, my battery life could last for over 10 easily...

Now I get close to 8, or 4-5 of heavy browsing (videos, and stuffs), but that's acceptable to me.

I get a full day in the office with my 13" i5 MBAir running 10.7.2 - using the iWork suite, plus occasional check of emails and news on the 'net (for which I tether to my iPhone.)

can't see any difference to 2010 MBAir running SL
