Hi,

I have an iPhone 4 and a Macbook Pro. The iPhone runs iOS 5.

Since I only have the one iOS device (iPhone), is there any reason to have iCloud turned on? I'm not worried about storage space on my phone.

And, will leaving iCloud turned on vs off affect battery life at all?

Thank you kindly.

For me, the most important feature of iCloud is Find My iPhone.

Automatic iPhone backups into the cloud seem like a good idea too. Even if you usually sync with your MacBook, it's not a bad idea to have offsite backup.

Realtime sync of contacts, calendars, notes, bookmarks and photos between iOS and OSX.
Online backups of your iPhone.
Find My iPhone now works through iCloud.
