Seri has failed me MULTIPLE times

I love it when it works, however, there have been at least 10 times over the past two days that it tells me that it can not connect to the network and can not do something as simple as setting up a reminder. This is happening even though I have full bars on my VZW 4S.

1. Why does it need a network/data connection to set a reminder? Same thing for making a call, I was not able to because it would not connect to the network. Does it need a network/data connection to make a call locally on my phone? My car when it is paired can do this without connecting to some network.

2. Why would it not have a network connection if I have full bars?

Thanks.

1. It needs network/data to set a reminder because apple's servers transcribe your voice so that its accurate.

2. You do not have a network connection if you have full bars because apple is being hammered with people trying siri out so the servers are overloaded.

She hates you because you keep calling her, "Seri".
